If you scroll travel TikTok for even 30 seconds, you are bound to be inundated with travel hacks, products you “just have” to buy to have the best trip of your life, and about a thousand other overwhelming bits of advice. These are a few of the things that have helped us over the last few years of traveling while living in Italy, from packing for four day weekends, to figuring out what visas you need to travel to certain countries. First, don’t forget the right plug adapters—an all-in-one adapter with USB ports is a lifesaver. If you're bringing motorized devices, like a blow dryer, get a transformer. For renting cars, many countries require an International Driving Permit (IDP). Keep an eye on visa updates for the UK and EU, and consider using e-sims for affordable data while abroad. These simple tips will make your travels smoother!
